Simhat Torah

Yesterday, we celebrated Simhat Torah at the Synagogue. And mom, dad, and Izzy came with. And when we got there, we had dinner. And then we went into a big room and the Rabbi talked about the Torah and she opened it and the parents hold the Torah and the scroll was huge! More than 20 feet! And it was written in Hebrew! And then the Rabbi handed out little Torahs for the Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade. And Izzy is in Kindergarten And he got a Torah. And then my dad asked the Rabbi if I can have one and she gave one to me! And then everyone started dancing with the Torah and they held flags! And my dad was holding something that holds the Torah and he said it was heavy. And while we danced, there was music. And it was Jewish music. And we had fun dancing with the Torah and holding the flags.
